During an individual session, I guide you through a Yoga session that is sensitive to your needs and goes at your pace. I may assist you in poses that you would not be able to take on your own by stabilizing your balance or partially supporting your weight.
Make friends with your body and feel at home in it like you never have before. Private Yoga allows you to offer yourself healing, comfort, and stress relief when nothing else can provide it. It’s a practice of empowerment and getting to know yourself, which will shift aspects of your life and body that you previously thought were immovable.
I teach yoga because everyone deserves to offer themselves these gifts, but isn’t always easy to receive them.
Some obstacles may be physical limitations, the fear of a class situation or discomfort with facing the expected challenges of yoga alone. All of these things can be difficult (or impossible) to face alone. My yoga sessions are private and catered to your needs.
It is possible to ease into this practice while respecting your own boundaries and while meeting your immediate needs.
I am a Yoga Alliance registered instructor (RYT 200). I have been practicing yoga since 2000, and teaching yoga since 2009.
